Our Story
GulHaus is a modern pantry brand rooted in South Asian tradition and designed for everyday life.
I grew up in Pakistan in a home where Panjiri was quietly ever-present — prepared for winter warmth, long nights of studying, and evening tea shared with family and guests. It was nourishment without ceremony, made with intention and care.
After immigrating to the United States, and later becoming a mother far from family, the absence of those rituals felt deeply personal. In South Asian homes, Panjiri is traditionally prepared by mothers for their daughters — a gesture of comfort, strength, and continuity.
GulHaus was created to honor that lineage.
This is my way of preserving a recipe shaped by generations and presenting it with clarity for modern lives — thoughtfully made, carefully packaged, and meant to be shared. Today, I offer it to households across the U.S., while passing it down to nourish my own daughter.
“Panjiri was never just food — it was comfort, strength, and belonging.”
From our roots to your home.
